Studies prove that increasing your fitness level is beneficial to improving quality of life. For folks over 55, the benefits that regular exercise provide are even more important as you are faced with negative aspects of aging…such as decrease in lean muscle mass, bone density loss and a decrease in metabolic rate, to name a few.
The “boomer bootcamp” fitness class is designed with this in mind. This class incorporates several components, such as functional strength, cardiovascular training, balance & stability, as well as plenty of flexibility & range of motion exercises. We will also work on improving coordinated movement to help with fall prevention. Most importantly…we have fun!
Core-Stretch-Fusion

This 30 minute class will introduce the importance and ease of adding a core exercise routine to daily workouts. Proper technique, timing, breathing and form will be covered thoroughly. It is recommended that participants complete a 10-15 minute cardio warm up prior to the start of class.
Reduced flexibility and functionality is a consequence of aging and inactivity. One way to combat these effects is to incorporate the Core-Stretch-Fusion class into your workout regime. Stretch and core is recommended for all fitness levels. This class is a nice compliment to other training…such as running, cycling, yoga, weight lifting, etc.
