The Love Shack FAQ, Baby!

 

Q:  Is this a regular night club or social club?  What kind of club is it?

A.  No.  Love Shack is a private social club that hosts house parties and partners on other events, not a nightclub.  Our use of the term “Club” refers to the fact that many of our members are part of the Swinging Lifestyle and enjoy its social aspects.  Others attend simply to enjoy the company of like-minded, open and non-judgemental people like themselves.  Other Members  are simply considering entering the Lifestyle and want to see what it’s like.

 

Q:  Can I buy alcohol at your Club event?

A.  Absolutely not.  We do not ever sell or provide alcohol to our Members.  Love Shack is BYOB and all Members are responsible for purchasing and bringing their own alcohol to our events.  Mixers, ice, and snacks are ALWAYS .   Food is served at select Love Shack and Hunt Club-Los Angeles events.  If food is being served, this will be notated on the Calendar. 

 

Q:  If I call or text, will you tell me what kind/how many people are attending?

A.  No.  For the security of our Guests and Property Owners, we don’t give out attendance information or party/event demographics.  Here’s a good example scenario of why we don’t:  An anonymous caller rings us up and asks us how many Single Ladies are in attendance; we tell himm and he arrives at the event a short time later having decided that these single ladies are there for his personal pleasure.  Obviously, that is not the case...but it has become a problem nonethess.  You see our point?  We thought you would.  This has never happened to us, but it is why our Single Gentleman Members are screened.  Please note that event location information is provided by text approximately two hours before an event.  No exceptions.

 

Q:  How do we (or I) get an invite to a party?

A.  You don’t need an invitation.  All are welcome, although the number of Single Gentlemen is very limited.  Only so many single men are admitted each hour during an event.  Because we are a private Members-Only House Party you MUST have an Annual Membership to the Love Shack in order to attend our events
